VOLUME 1 (2010)

In a lapse of two years, Stanley Bloom and Mike Ro Wave were sharing samples, ideas and making beats. To start the project on the right path, they decided to share their drafts and unreleased tracks in Private Beats Vol. 1 mixtape. After traveling, filled with new ideas, new orientations and new instruments, Stanley and Mike Ro are about to release their Private Beats Vol. 2 mixtape. Private Beats Vol. 2 will be spicier, funkier and swetter than ever, it has been made with a lot of love, so... Enjoy.

Stanley Bloom and Mike Ro Wave due an amazing collaboration together, there is no doubt they understand each others perception of music. Private Beats Vol. 1 is a dosage of hip hop funkyness, unexpected cosmic flare, and a pinch of glitch, it made me step into the NYC 70's - 80's underground hip hop scene. All tracks are produced and mixed by Stanley Bloom and Mike Ro Wave, Vol. 1 mixtape reflects their true passion and appreciation for hip hop and funk music.

S.Bloom - as a DJ, Stanley spent several years mixing deep grooves in Paris, France. Stanley later focused on music production where he expressed his addiction for hip hop beats, he shares a deep love for other genres like soul, funk and jazz music. This is where all his inspiration comes from. Stanley Bloom wishes to establish and expand his project due to this first love. Stanley is also a skilled and experienced photographer, he loves mixing his musical talent with breathtaking photography.

M.Ro Wave - Mike is a musician and a talented composer, he is the guitarist to an alternative dub band based in the Paris area. Mike Ro loves expressing his sense of music with different instruments, and his musical inspirations come from genres such as funk, soul, jazz, reggae and hip hop. Beside his band, he started working on a new project where he would finally do what he always wanted to produce "Hip Hop Modern Soul".

VOLUME 2 (2011)

We finally did it, the Private Beats volume 2 is available ! After one year of international experiences and a busy summer in California, traveling, shooting and composing, we decided to bring you a year of passion, and the californian sunshine.

This mixtape was made with love, as usual, and includes a bunch of wicked and exclusives tracks from special guests : friends and artists we apreciate a lot. From Paris, Brazil, San Francisco, Atlanta, Montréal, Copenhagen...
